Hi, I’m Xavi, a proud dog dad born in Barcelona who loves creating things in his free time. Nice to meet you!!!

From a very young age I was one of those kids who tried to take apart their toys, or anything around them (perhaps influenced by my dad, the typical handyman who fixed everything). Even today I’m still curious about everything around me; how things work and how I can keep learning.

I began in logistics as a consultant, understanding the day-to-day operations of my clients, and ended up focused on the 3PL sector: going through every possible stage in the WMS world (debugger, developer, solution architect…) up to today, where I lead E2E solutions globally.

I’m passionate about AI and very happy to have coincided with this era of humanity! (Although I’d change a few things about human beings, hahaha :D)

SWIFT Insight is a working analytics & AI prototype exploring how WMS operational data can support live dashboards and natural-language questions. Two engines shape the concept: SWIFT View for real-time visibility and SWIFT Mind for grounded, agentic AI assistance.

Deep expertise in WMS ecosystems.

My name is Xavi, and I’m from Barcelona. I’m a dog dad (Floki) and professionally incapable of disconnecting from the tech world; when I’m not with my family or doing sport, I’m mulling over a problem I haven’t solved yet, or learning something I probably don’t need to know but really want to understand.

After studying Mechanical Engineering, in love with physics and motorsports, I ended up in IT and the logistics sector, and never looked back. Over 11+ years I’ve worked for leading 3PLs such as DHL and consulted for Blue Yonder partners like Prime Horizon Group (ModernLogic). Today I serve as WMS Engineering Lead for Europe at GXO; architecture, solution design and technical leadership across the region, and part of the Global Team.

I’ve configured Blue Yonder WMS in every version, from the old RedPrairie releases to 2025 (and now waiting to learn about Cognitive): workflows, robotics integrations (Locus, 6River), interface development over API and Transaction Explorer, and custom configuration tooling. I built a domain-grounded AI system using synthetic and non-confidential WMS configuration patterns. That work is the foundation of SWIFT Insight: exploring operational gaps that standard tools do not always address.

The best solutions come from people who understand both sides; the operational reality of the warehouse and the technical precision of the system that manages it. My strength is combining that floor-level knowledge with a senior technical background to build tools operators actually want to use.
